App Store Confusion

--- Update: As of 3-8 this issue has been fixed.

The App Store is showing an update for Motion 5.2.3 even though Motion 5.2.3 has already been installed... Annoying.

Epson Draft printing mode greyed-out

When I print something to my Epson printer, I can not select "Draft" quality, it's greyed-out.  Grrr... Why? Ink costs a fortune.

As it turns out, when I installed my printer, it was set by default to use the AirPrint driver:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5245420?tstart=0
I looked into System Preferences/Printers & Scanners, and indeed AirPrint shows up:
So I deleted ("-") and then added ("+") the printer in System Preferences/Printers & Scanners, but this time I clicked on the "Use" drop-down menu and selected "Epson series" instead of the default "AirPrint":
As a result, Epson Series driver (sans "AirPrint") shows up:
Now when I print, the computer uses the Epson driver and Draft, "Economy" modes are available:
Yes!

FCPX 10.2.3 is out!

Mostly bug fixes, but hey! They are welcome as well.

Note to self:
- Update when you are in-between projects, or install and test-drive on a secondary computer.
- Duplicate old Libraries, and update the dupe to conform to the new FCPX.
- Archive the current FCPX app  before launching the update. Right-click and Compress, then save the Compressed app to a backup drive.

Blackmagic Design Desktop Video 10.5.4 on Mac OSX 10.10.5 keeps crashing FCPX 10.2.2

It's becoming annoying, BMD Desktop Video 10.5.4 crashes FCPX at every occasion - like dragging a clip across the Timeline.
I've had it, I've retrograded to 10.5.3, and the rest of the day has been fine, no crash.

I was on Desktop Video 10.5 before and it was stable. This machine has a DeckLink Mini Monitor PCie.  I will stay on 10.5.3 and wait for the next iteration after 4.
I'm not alone: http://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=44128

--- Update
DV 10.5.3 is also unstable, although less than 4.  I'm back to 10.5.

--- Update
DV 10.5 is working fine, no crash so far.

What is your experience with 10.5.4? Stable? Unstable?

Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 stuck in Diagnostic Mode - Finally free!

What's going on?
I started Illustrator  CC2015 this morning and it crashed and since then it is stuck in Diagnostic mode. Three days ago it worked fine for hours on end.  Nothing has changed on my end, same everything. This is crazy?!!!  I get this stupid message:
I click on Yes, and then it is STUCK, at Test 11, then Test 12, Test whatever checking Fonts according to the dialog.
But it never gets pass the damn test, never starts. In the activity monitor it shows AI not responding and using 100% CPU.
CC 2015 Photoshop starts, Premiere, Audition, AME, After Effects all start.  But not Illustrator !  Got rid of Fonts caches, repaired permission, started in Safe Mode, no go.

---- SOLUTION  ----
All right, I got onto the Chat with Adobe Support ("Contact Us")
https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html?promoid=KLXNA#/product/illustrator

We went through resetting Preferences:
/User/Library/Preferences
Rename "Adobe Illustrator 19 Settings" to "Adobe Illustrator 19 Settings-OLD"
/User/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Rename "Adobe Illustrator 19" to "Adobe Illustrator 19-OLD"
Launch Illustrator.  All right!  Out of the Diagnostic mode at last!  Thanks!  Back to work.

I guess that was also in this thread:

"Inactive" Waves AU Plug-ins cripple FCPX with constantly popping message window

I need to work on a project started a while ago, and to do so I am loading an old FCPX Library.  Back then I used a couple of Waves plug-ins to finalize the project.
The computer I'm using today does not have the Waves license activated and FCPX constantly pops a window with the message:
 (imagine... X 100)

Plug-in # does not have a license. Please check that you have a valid license, then click "Rescan Licenses".   To continue without Plug-in #, click "Skip".

Well man, I'm clicking "Skip" like a madman, but the creeping message keeps coming back, and back and back and back and back and back and back and back and back and back and back and back and back.  What the hell is this?????

OK so after clicking XXX times on "Skip" (OK hold ESC instead to go through this ordeal faster)  I finally get to select my clips and from here I should be able to DELETE the freaking Plug-ins from the Inspector... Yes!
NOT without having to click "Skip" another hundred times... Oh lord... I see what it's doing, I have a hundred clips that have the plug-in added, so it's popping the damn window for EACH instance of the Plug-in... Lovely.

Popping ONCE would be enough don't you think Waves? You are disabling the Plug-ins anyway, so what's the use of constantly popping a message window?  I get it, the license is not activated on this machine, yes I want to Skip, do I have to say it a hundred of times?

Enough already!  Please fix this behavior that's jacking up our blood pressure. Thanks.
