With Adobe Media Encoder you can create user presets, but you cannot specify the output destination as part of the preset.
That's seriously lacking Adobe, please add Output destination as part of users presets.
Now when you send a job from Premiere to AME, it automatically sets the Output File destination to the last Output File destination you specified in... PREMIERE via Export / Media.
Seriously Adobe? Users have been flabbergasted by this behavior for years. Can't you do something about it?
So, as mentioned in the community post above, the only way to have AME defaults to the folder of your choice is to first fake an Export / Media job in Premiere, and set your output folder there.
Then and only then will AME remembers the location and use it as default for subsequent jobs, no matter what preset you use.
