How to permanently delete pictures from Apple Photos Library

I sometimes use Apple Photos app to quickly import, view and organize pictures. Plenty of limitations in this app, one being that only one Library can be open at one time...

I usually create a new Library for a new project, to do so, hold Option and open the Photos app, which brings a menu from where you can create a new Library, or open an existing Library, other than the one currently opened.

That's fine if not cumbersome.  Sometimes though I import pictures into the wrong Library...
To fix this, I Export the pictures in question and put them into a temp folder. When that's done, I delete the pictures - but you will notice that the files are still present in the wrong Library at the disk / Finder level... No shrinkage in size for that Library at the Finder level.

To delete the pictures for good from the Library/drive, select in Photos: File/Show Recently Deleted, and then click on the Delete All button on the top left corner. Photos will warn you that the pictures will be gone forever... Yes! Exactly what I want.

After some time... Variable depending on the amount of pictures you are throwing away I suppose, the Library file will shrink, indicating that indeed the photos have been deleted from the drive and from the "wrong" Library.

Last part, open the correct Library: quit, launch Photos again while holding Option + select the correct Library from the menu. Then Import the pictures from the temp folder. Done

Adobe Creative Cloud desktop App for Mac OsX Yosemite quits on install

Adobe Creative Cloud app was showing an update, so I clicked on Install from the App itself, but it repeatedly failed to install and quit. That was trying to install Version 3.7.0.272 released on 06/13/2016. First time this happens to me.

So I ended up starting in Safe Mode (shut-down, wait 10sec., start, wait for the chime, press and hold the Shift key.)  Your Mac will display Safe Mode on the top right in red.

After that I went to Adobe CC install page and singed-in and clicked download to download the installer and I followed the instructions.

It installed fine, and after restart Adobe CC App was up and running, with the latest update.

Weird thing, is that Adobe CC App is not present in the Application Folder as it used to be.  Only the uninstaller is.  Also, CC does not display Apps properly, for example I have Illustrator installed, but it does not list Illustrator under the Installed Apps tab.

Something's up...

Final Cut Pro 10.2.3 refuses to launch

Today FCPX 10.2.3 got stuck on opening, displaying only an empty splash window and not loading anything... Frustrating.

Some users have reported that Audio Components can be creating such a problem when FCP does not start.

So I proceeded by elimination: pulling recently installed AUs from my Plug-Ins folder (in BootHD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components) to see if it helped.

Indeed I found my culprit: and audio component I installed a few weeks ago: "MIGIC.component."  After removing it, FCP started no problem.
